Malice in Wondeland Empty Malice in Wondeland

Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
The reflection of echo that resounds day and night devouring the empty soul it's image reflects
Or the one who looks beyond the reflection to reveal an enlightened soul unhampered by imagery.

Another place, another time, a place with no reason nor rime
The fair maiden locked in it's ivory tower, untouchable without the golden key to freedom
Striving night and day to stay aloof of the decay trodden by the mortal souls below on earth

Mortal souls who can have no part in the divine spirit locked away in it's own tower of misery
Misery only known to those on high with nothing but the dying echo the mirror reflects
A consuming power to rule that isolated elevated gilded tower, to make it the bodies only refuge of solitary confinement

How imprisoned one you must wallow in the amber nectar of creation, your creation
Do you rest easy at night, let the cool wind untangle your golden locks at day.
Do you breath the clean air nature provides for well-being, or do you stagnate in a bath of putridity?

Is your soul cleansed, is your path open to a free world unrestrained by the shackles of the chains that bind you?
Oh dear maiden of the glittering tower - how you mourn the loss of freedom
How you mourn past memories of happy carefree days of bygone days

A knight in shining armour awaits in the shadows of you mind
Will he come or pass you by, will he ride or will he fly
The sand it dribbles with passing time .... waiting waiting waiting
