The Booker Prize Empty The Booker Prize

Then the question of book publication rears it's ugly head, so many authors who claim to know the answers - or think they do.  Where is the litigation and the whooshing?

There was the same public nuisance who distributed negativity across the nation, understandably taken to task;  the former Portuguese police officer's book was taken off the market, at least in the UK;   there was an American who claimed her book about the McCann case was 'whooshed' by Amazon marketing, without knowing the full detail it's difficult to gauge - more so at such a distance.  Is that the only occasions restrictions have been imposed on book publication?

So so many books have been published about the case, its hard to keep count but one thing for sure - they are all out there in the market place for anyone to buy and read.. they haven't been banned nor whooshed!

It has been said across social media about one particular publication, the litigious wouldn't dare try to ban a publication so close to the truth (?) - a publication based on hearsay, speculation and possibility?  Meanwhile other authors continue to publish their opinions, theories, speculation, hearsay and claims of unique knowledge - freely, also without ban or litigation and not a whoosh in sight?

There isn't a right or wrong here, books are and continue to be published irrespective of the content.  To say nothing of the many documentaries and TV shows and YouTube videos that are steadfast in their presence - for all to view!  A touch of self importance comes into play here.

Whooshed?  Litigious?

BAH !!!
