Generally Speaking

Tue 4 Jun 2024 - 16:49 by Spamalot

Generally speaking and loosely topical, I can't understand why parents take very young children on holiday to foreign lands.  It can't be much fun for the kids!

You need to be careful taking children to the beach considering unfamiliar marine life, natural tidal variance and above all else the typical criminal element to be found anywhere touristic.  Then there is the resort swimming pool but …

Madeleine McCann: A General Oversight

Tue 24 Sep 2024 - 13:05 by Wisdom

It would be extremely helpful if, when reporting on a serious occurrence such as the loss of a child, the narrators would try and get their facts right, otherwise what is the point?

For some reason this video has suddenly appeared on YouTube, naturally it piqued interest but in reality it's nothing short of a compilation of past reportage - in short, factually incorrect!

Is the case of missing …

madeleine mccann, for argument's sake!

Mon 26 Aug 2024 - 12:47 by Onehand

madeleine mccann, for argument's sake!

i always like to read and hear other opinions, and there is in my opinion even a need to do that. we all come from different backgrounds and have different life experiences, that is always of influence in how your mind gets wired. it also is very hard to leave that out, not only in the armchair branches, but in real time criminal investigations too.

madeleine mccann, the rise and fall of tannerman.

Thu 12 Sep 2024 - 22:27 by Onehand

madeleine mccann, the rise and fall of tannerman, part 1

tannerman was a product of eyes and mind of jane tanner, one of the so called tapas7, its existence known from the late evening of may 3, 2007, who became quickly the instant abductor that was so needed.
still tannerman has quite a history, his time is not done, he still is on the website finding madeleine.

even his name changed multiple …

madeleine mccann, the sightings.

Tue 17 Sep 2024 - 15:08 by Onehand

madeleine mccann, the sightings.

the uk tabloids had found an exact number, their source unknown, but it was over 8500 different sightings of madeleine mccann, from all over the world, and on places that could not be reached on the same day both. by distance that would be impossible.

not all sightings got much attention, quite a lot are in the pj files. most seem to be outside portugal, so they …

madeleine mccann; concealment of the body.

Fri 17 May 2024 - 8:46 by Onehand

the concealment of a body. part 1.

it was one of the 3 points in the consensus reached in the first portuguese investigation, and the one that naturally follows on an accidental death. this consensus placed the parents in a hypothetical guilty role.

this topic is not fit for the feeble minded, if you are one, just stop reading.

if the first point starts from a fatal accident inside or around …

Madeleine McCann: the smith family and smithman.

Thu 2 May 2024 - 9:54 by Onehand

the smith family. part 1.

a family from ireland that had already many holidays in praia da luz, not all travelled all times in the same group they were out that week. in total a group of 9 people, still only 4 made statements about what they had said, have seen on the evening of may 3, 2007, when going back to their quarters.

it is grown into complicated sighting grown in the name of operation …

Madeleine McCann: the impossible investigation of the madeleine mccann case

Thu 18 Apr 2024 - 13:18 by Onehand

the impossible investigation. part 1

it really was an impossible investigation back in may 2007, when a young child gone missing, in the area managed by the ocean club, near the village of praia da luz.

the village itself has a still visible history of people living there from at least the romans on, maybe it has some of the same attractions as then, sun sea and a nice climate.
between the …

madeleine mccann, two sided stories.

Tue 18 Jun 2024 - 20:32 by Onehand

madeleine mccann, two sided stories.

many times i see people write their thoughts about how difficult it would be to get out of unit 5a with a body, and use that as the deciding argument for not looking at the parents, but explain a missing madeleine, as; so it must have been a abduction, taken by a stranger.

still if you think a bit longer, it means there would not be much difference, we still …

Madeleine McCann: dogs, and dna.

Mon 13 May 2024 - 20:00 by Onehand

dogs, and dna. part 1.

this part of the case of madeleine mccann is a bit complicated. it is also the most spoken about part. from dogs don’t lie to dogs are very unreliable. so that is quite opposite of course.

quite sad is when it become the dogs get the bad mouthing, and when that is not enough, well there always can be having a go on the handler.
quite stupid, it would be equally …

madeleine mccann; publications of interest

Sat 18 May 2024 - 7:30 by Onehand

the case of madeleine mccann has in its 17 years produced many books, videos and other material.

many are easier to find than others, links can be all over the place, so they work fine and so they do no longer.
so it is always nice to put at least the full title out and a name of a writer. what makes searching to find it again is a bit easier.
this is not meant for newspaper articles.

Kate McCann: The 48 questions she REFUSED to answer

Thu 22 Aug 2024 - 13:47 by Wisdom

To this day, a notional 17 years after the event, this simple statement is being used to presume guilt - technically this is not so!

Kate McCann was taken in for questioning as a witness by the Portuguese Judiciary on 5th September 2007, 11 hours duration. In a press release the McCann's spokesperson Justine McGuinness confirmed Kate McCann the following day, 6th September 2007, was to be …

madeleine mccann, the first picture, and just more pictures.

Thu 11 Jul 2024 - 15:04 by Onehand

the first picture out to the world showing madeleine mccann, a missing girl, that still is used by interpol on their notice, was an oldy, but was it a mystery in itself too.

maybe not so much, it was from the statements of the tapas 9 that its origin was on a device owned by kate mccann. some called it an usb stick, others from one of the camera’s owned and used by kate.

what is clear and …

madeleine mccann, did it all happened on that evening?

Tue 21 May 2024 - 21:20 by Onehand

what if; all happened on that evening.

i have wandered around in all kinds of starting points. the problem is, there are hardly any starting points that include a beginning, the act and the endgame. and when i get some doubts i always go back to the consensus of the first portuguese investigation.

not only from a kind of respect, but this was the only one, that team had almost all the direct …

The Find Madeleine Fund

Sat 3 Aug 2024 - 21:41 by Wisdom

A bone of contention if ever there was.

The origins of The Fund's set-up was curious to say the least, whatever it attracted much criticism from certain quarters - the main reason being the whys and wherefores at that particular time. It started with a title something like 'The Fight Fund' according to the press and media, the alleged title of which in itself raises an eyebrow or two but who's …

madeleine mccann, the company you keep.

Wed 10 Jul 2024 - 19:37 by Onehand

part 1.

a lot is already said about possible roles from others like the companies who owned and organised things there on that small bit of portugal near the beach.

a lot is at best mixed in with expectations and speculations, and it is still going on, not only about the companies, but also the people who worked there.
i find it quite surprising to notice how little time a lot of commenters …

madeleine mccann, what if it happened earlier?

Fri 24 May 2024 - 13:01 by Onehand

what if it happened earlier?

if we still start from an accident, simply because there is not the information to make that different, so that would never will go beyond supposing.

we cannot use the dog alerts and the traces it delivered to explain when something happened, for me the alerts around the blue sofa makes an accident plausible. a fall can be a very good fit in that area, and besides …

Peter Bleksley: Friend or Foe?

Thu 20 Jun 2024 - 13:58 by Spamalot

Well we'd all like to think of Peter Bleksley as a friend rather than a foe - wouldn't we?  Debatable!

These ex police officers appear to be more trouble than they are worth, seldom do you come across one who actually supports their former colleagues rather than selling them down the Swanee at every given opportunity.

Bleksley is one such person to be viewed with caution.  Like Colin Sutton …

madeleine mccann, blood on the wall.

madeleine mccann, blood on the wall.

over and over a picture taken from the pj files is used to get into stories about blood spatter, and an interpretation of it. and this can not be called anything different than stupid.

the background to this picture is there in the pj files, you only have to read it, if you cannot get enough concentration by switching page to page, you always can print them.
