uso, not ufo
not a unidentified flying object in sight, but still the world of science could register strange activity, full 9 days long, and i have learned today such events are to be called unidentified seismic object.
but it is nice a guy who knows so much more about this is explaining it in a you tube video;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60T9TKuuujs
who would expected that a landslide of ice in greenland would take a bath of 9 days, and made so much waves, or maybe it is better called pulses, or just noises the complete world would register them. well it did.
so for future use it is great to keep a link to the written article too; https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.adm9247
sadly it is behind a paywall, still some of us will manage ways around that so this is the title you can look for;
A rockslide-generated tsunami in a Greenland fjord rang Earth for 9 days

the abstract has a extreme high probability to find fresh scrabble words, but it seems it is already picked up by the dutch national news, what means it can already is somewhere on the bbc too of course. so an easier explanation than the video already gives will hang out somewhere.
still why is there a paywall, do we really have to believe world wide are people paid to look at seismic activity in a commercial setting, or are most still affiliated or worse paid by universities funded by the usual taxpayers pockets.
but it does give food for thoughts of course, i mean my bath is not that big, but i still am fond of making waves, never would dare to think that could on a more local scale maybe could have effects, and i actually think it was indeed me who was to blame that the not so well glued title work in the kitchen and the bathroom did come down because of a silly habit. i mean it is highly unlikely i had not make waves in the bath in the 9 days before that happened. it would have been nice to find out in the article how such things do work. better not tell about it at dinnertime tonight.
