A general perspective of the criminal element of society

There can't be many of us who don't share a latent interest in crime past and present, the subject might appear off-topic on a forum such as this but looking deeper there is the return of that basic instinct that has never left humanity .... fight or flight, the yearn for survival and preservation of self interests.

If you rummage around those dusty crusty old history books, or indeed if you paid attention to teacher back in the day, there is no option but to recognize the evil that runs through life from the darkest ages to modern times.

I know this to be a subject of interest to the professional and amateur sleuths that we walk amongst so let this be a platform to reveal and discuss our passions but please note .... this is not intended to be a place to interfere with active policing through speculation and wild imaginings.
